Thanks to an unbroken partnership of 141 runs for the fifth wicket between Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav, India has taken a 1-0 lead in the series by defeating Australia by six wickets in the Hyderabad ODI.
In the first match of the five-match ODI series, Australia had set a target of 237 runs against India. After this, India achieved the target of winning by 240 runs at the loss of four wickets in 48.2 overs.
Kedar Jadhav top scored with 81 in the Indian innings. Jadhav scored nine fours and a six in his innings of 87 balls. At the same time Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored an unbeaten 59 in 72 balls and hit six fours and a six.
Jadhav was given the award of 'Man of the Match' for his all-round performance. Jadhav performed brilliantly with the ball as well as the ball. He took one wicket with 31 runs in 7 overs.
Captain Virat Kohli scored 44 runs (45 balls, 6 fours) and Rohit Sharma contributed 37 runs (66 balls, 5 fours). Apart from this, opener Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed without opening the account and Ambati Rayudu played 13 runs.

Kohli after the match, what did Finch say?

After the match, Indian captain Kohli said praising the bowlers along with Jadhav and Dhoni, "It was a difficult match." We really did bat, the bowlers made a match for us and we needed a big partnership during the batting. Today Dhoni and Kedar took the responsibility, both of them have performed very well. "
Australian captain Finch said, "I think we should make 20 or 30 runs and bowlers gave a good ball, although we were not consistently successful in taking wickets, which is very important for winning a good team."

Finch's 100th ODI

India are playing five ODIs against Australia after losing the two T20 matches 0-2.
Earlier, while batting, Australia's team lost to 7 wickets in the allotted 50 overs and scored 236 runs.
Opening batsman Usman Khawaja top scored with 50 runs from the Australian team. Apart from them Glenn Maxwell scored 40 runs.
For the Indian team, Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav took 2-2 wickets. At the same time Kedar Jadhav got one wicket.
In this match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Australia has given spinner Ashton Turner the opportunity to start his ODI career, while captain Aaron Finch is the 100th ODI match of his career.
Finch, after winning the toss, decided to bat first but could not open the account.
He was caught by Jaspreet Bumrah at Dhoni's hands. During this time, he did only ordinary three balls.

Finch performing poorly

Finch has been running in bad rhythm for some time now. In June 2018, after scoring a century against England, he has scored only 83 runs in eight one-day internationals.
Two Twenty20 matches were played with the India ODI series Australia won of course, but was silent even bat Finch said. He scored zero and eight in these two matches.
Finch, who started his career in ODI cricket in 2013, has so far scored 3,444 runs in 100 ODIs with an average of 36.25, including 11 centuries and 18 half centuries.
During this, he returned to the pavilion only once without opening the account nine times.
After Finch was dismissed in the second over, Australia's second wicket fell in the 21st over as Marcus Stainis (37). He got Kedar Jadhav caught by Virat Kohli.
After this, Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Peter Handscomb in the 24th over, Usman Khawaja in the 30th over.
Mohammed Shami then dismissed Ashton Turner (21) in the 38th over.
In the second T20, Glenn Maxwell (40), who took the match from India, bowled in the 40th over, Mohammed Shami blown the chances of any big score in Australia.

Important series for India

This five-match ODI series is very important for the Indian team because it is India's last international tournament before the World Cup in England. Yes, players will definitely get the opportunity to practice with the international cricketers in the IPL.
Captain Virat Kohli also indicated on the eve of the match that the series will play a key role in choosing the World Cup team.
He said, "I do not think there will be any impact on the IPL's World Cup selection. We have to make a strong team even before going to the IPL. If some players do not do well in the IPL then they will not be out of the World Cup team. Will not be. "
The Indian team has decided to throw two spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav in this match.
Virat Kohli also gave India the title of Under-19 World Cup on the day of 2 March 2008. The ICC tweeted this with their Twitter handle before the start of the match.
